AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 33 of 1992. REGISTRATION COUNCIL (CONSTITUTION AND PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1992. I, NOEL DAVERN, Minister for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 1 and 3 of the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Act, 1914, as adapted, hereby make the following rules: 1.
(1)These Rules may be cited as the Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) (Amendment) Rules, 1992.
(2)The Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) Rules, 1926 to 1986, and these rules shall be construed together and may be cited together as the Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) Rules, 1926 to 1992.
(3)These Rules shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1992. 2.
(1)In these Rules, "the Principal Rules" means the Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) Rules, 1926 (S. R. & O. No. 17 of 1926).
(2)The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to these Rules.
- The Principal Rules are hereby amended by: ( a ) the substitution in Rule 3 of "twenty-two" and "twenty" for "twenty" and "eighteen" (inserted by the Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) (Amendment) Rules, 1986 ( S.I. No. 26 of 1986 )), respectively, and accordingly the said Rule 3 shall have effect as set out in the Table to this Rule, and ( b ) the substitution for the Schedule thereto of the Schedule to these Rules. TABLE The Council shall consist of twenty-two members of whom two shall be appointed by the Minister and twenty shall be appointed by the appointing bodies in the numbers respectively set opposite the name of each such appointing body in the second column of the Schedule to these Rules.
