INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (TEXTILES, CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR COMMITTEE) (AMENDMENT) ORDER NO. 2, 1992. An Foras Áiseanna Saothair in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 24 of the Industrial Training Act, 1967 (No. 5 of 1967), and Section 4

(2)of the Labour Services Act, 1987 , (No. 15 of 1987), hereby makes the following Order:—
  1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Training (Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Committee) (Amendment) No. 2 Order,
  3. In this Order "the Order of 1989" means the Industrial Training (Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Committee) Order, 1989 as amended.
  4. The Order of 1989 and this Order may be cited together as the Industrial Training (Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Committee) Orders, 1989 and
  6. Article 8 of the Order of 1989 is hereby amended by the substitution of "three years and nine months" for "three years and three months". GIVEN under the seal of An Foras Áiseanna Saothair this 13th day of November,

The seal of An Foras Áiseanna Saothair was affixed in the presence of: CHRIS KIRWAN a member of An Foras Áiseanna Saothair authorised by An Foras Áiseanna Saothair to act in that behalf and JOHN J. LYNCH an officer of An Foras Áiseanna Saothair authorised by An Foras Áiseanna Saothair to act in that behalf. EXPLANATORY NOTE. An Foras Áiseanna Saothair (The Training and Employment Authority) was established under the Labour Services Act, 1987 . The Industrial Training (Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Committee) Order, 1989 made by An Foras Áiseanna Saothair established an Industrial Training Committee, to be known as the Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Foras Áiseanna Saothair in relation to the performance of its functions under the 1967 Industrial Training Act and the Labour Services Act, 1987 . This Order amends the Industrial Training (Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Committee) Order, 1989 by extending the term of office of the members of the Committee from three years and three months to three years and nine months.
