ROAD TRAFFIC (SPEED LIMITS) (COUNTY BOROUGH OF CORK AND COUNTY OF CORK) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1992. The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 5 and 45 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) and section 46 of the said Act (as amended by section 25 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968)) hereby makes the following Regulations. 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1992.
(2)The Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 and these Regulations shall be construed together and may be cited collectively as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 to
- In these Regulations "the Principal Regulations" means the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 ( S.I. No. 457 of 1986 ).

The Regulations amend the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (County Borough of Cork and County of Cork) Regulations, 1986 by removing the built-up area speed limit of 30 mph on these sections of the Southern Ring Road lying within the County Borough of Cork.
