I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving full effect to Council Directive No. 89/284/EEC of 13 April 1989

(2), hereby make the following Regulations:

(1)These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) (Amendment) Regulations, 1993.
(2)The European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1978 to 1991 and these Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1978 of
  2. The European Communities (Marketing of Fertilisers) Regulations, 1991 ( S.I. No. 284 of 1991 ), are hereby amended— ( a ) in Regulation 3
(1)(
  1. a)(
  2. i)by the substitution for "Article 6 of the Directive of 1975" of "Article 6 of the Directive of April 1989", and ( b ) in Regulation 4
(2)by the insertion of "or both," after "Chapter B,". GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 21st day of April,
