I, RUAIRÍ QUINN, Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 395 of the Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), as adapted by the Industry and Commerce (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 19 of 1993 ), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Companies (Fees) Order, 1993. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 26th day of October, 1993. 3. The Companies Act, 1963 (No. 33 of 1963), is hereby altered by the substitution of the following Schedule for the Eighth Schedule: "EIGHTH SCHEDULE Section 369 Fees to be paid to the registrar of companies Part I Table of Fees Ref. No. Matter in respect of which Fee is payable Amount of Fee £ 1. For registering a company 130 2. For registering any existing company except such companies as are by this Act exempted from payment of fees in respect of registration under this Act 130 3. For registering a change of company name 130 4. For registering an annual return 10 5. For registering an increase in the share capital of any company 15 6. For registering an increase in the membership of a company limited by guarantee or an unlimited company 5 7. For registering any document by this Act required or authorised to be registered or required to be delivered, sent or forwarded to the registrar, other than an annual return or in connection with a change of company name 5 8. For making a record of any fact by this Act required or authorised to be recorded by the registrar, other than in connection with a change of company name 5 9. For examining an application for the restoration of, and restoring, a company to the register under section 311A (inserted by section 246 of the Companies Act, 1990 (No. 33 of 1990)) of this Act 500 10. For registering an annual return delivered to or received by the registrar more than 77 days after the date the annual return is made up to, on or after the 31st day of October, 1995 150 Part II Limitations on operation of Part I 1. The reference to £150 at reference number 10 in Part I of this schedule shall— ( a ) as respects the period between the commencement of this Order and the 31st day of October, 1994, be construed as a reference to £50, and ( b ) as respects the period from the 1st of November, 1994, to the 30th day of October, 1995, be construed as a reference to £100". The purpose of this Order is to increase the fees to be paid in connection with certain provisions of the Companies Acts, 1963 to 1990.
