AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 293 of 1993. COMPETITION ACT, 1991 (NOTICE OF LICENCES AND CERTIFICATES) REGULATIONS, 1993. I, RUAIRÍ QUINN, Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 of the Competition Act, 1991 (No. 24 of 1991), hereby make the following Regulations: 1. ( a ) These Regulations may be cited as the Competition Act, 1991 (Notice of Licences and Certificates) Regulations, 1993. ( b ) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 18th day of October, 1993. 2.
(1)Notice of the grant of a licence or the issue of a certificate under section 4 in respect of an agreement, decision or concerted practice shall be given to every party thereto seeking the licence or certificate by being sent by registered post to that party at the address indicated in the relevant notification under section 7 as its address.
(2)Where a licence or certificate under section 4 covers a category of agreements, decisions or concerted practices, publication of the notice in Iris Oifigiúil as provided for by subsection
(6)shall, for the purposes of that subsection, be sufficient notice to everybody to which the licence or certificate relates.
