TELECOMMUNICATIONS (AMENDMENT) SCHEME, 1993 DUBLIN. BORD TELECOM ÉIREANN in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 90 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983) hereby makes the following Scheme: 1. This Scheme may be cited as the Telecommunications (Amendment) Scheme, 1993. 2.

(1)The collective citation "the Telecommunications Schemes, 1992 and 1993" includes this Scheme.
(2)This Scheme shall be deemed to have come into operation on 23 March
  1. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Scheme.
  2. The Minister for Communications, pursuant to Section 90
(2)of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), has concurred in the increase of charges effected by this Scheme. 5. The Telecommunications Scheme, 1992, ( S.I. No. 19 of 1992 ) is hereby amended by the substitution of the following Part 2, Part 3 and Part 5 for Part 2, Part 3 and Part 5 of the First Schedule thereto: " PART 2 Local Calls Article 53 Charges for Subscriber Dialled Local Calls Per period of part of a period of time specified in Table to Paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Part of this Schedule appropriate to the call. 1. To a subscriber ( a ) if he rents an exchange line without a coinbox 11.17p ( b ) if he rents an exchange line with a coinbox from which subscriber dialled trunk calls cannot be made 18p ( c ) if he rents an exchange line with a coinbox from which subscriber dialled trunk calls can be made 11.17p 2.
