REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (ROSCOMMON) ORDER, 1993. An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Roscommon) Order, 1993. 2. The division of the County of Roscommon into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows: ( a ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Ballinameen and Boyle No. 1 shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Boyle No. 1. ( b ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Ballaghadereen and Loughglynn shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Ballaghadereen. ( c ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Athleague, Ballyleague and Roscommon shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Roscommon. ( d ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Athlone No. 2, Brideswell and Kiltoom shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Athlone No. 2. ( e ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Rooskey and Strokestown shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Strokestown. 3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1994. GIVEN under my hand at Oifig an Ard-Chláraitheora, Joyce House, Lombard Street East, Dublin 2, this 7th day of December, 1993. The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the County of Roscommon so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
