FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (NO. 28) SCHEME, 1993. AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, hereby makes the following Scheme: 1.

(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 28) Scheme, 1993.
(2)This Scheme shall be operative from the 5th day of April,
  1. In this Scheme— "The Principal Warrant" means the Foreign Parcel Post Warrant, 1953 ( S.I. No. 418 of 1953 ). "Scheme No. 26" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 26) Scheme, 1991 ( S.I. No. 97 of 1991 ). "Scheme No. 27" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 27) Scheme, 1992 ( S.I. No. 256 of 1992 ).
  2. The First Schedule to the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 20) Scheme, 1985 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1985 ), as inserted by Regulation 4 of Scheme No. 27, is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the First Schedule to this Scheme.
  3. The Second Schedule to the Principal Warrant, as inserted by Regulation 7 of Scheme No. 26, is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the Second Schedule to this Scheme. FIRST SCHEDULE EMS COURIER SERVICE (To destinations outside the State). Rates available to every user of the Service.
