ANIMAL REMEDIES CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE (PRESCRIBED ORGANISATIONS) REGULATIONS, 1994. I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection

(2)of section 3 of the Animal Remedies Act, 1993 (No. 23 of 1993), and being of the appropriate opinion specified in subparagraph (iv) (v), (vi) or (vii), as the case may be, of paragraph (a) of the said subsection
(2), hereby make the following Regulations:
  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Animal Remedies Consultative Committee (Prescribed Organisations) Regulations,
  3. In these Regulations "the Act" means the Animal Remedies Act, 1993 (No. 23 of 1993).
  4. The following organisations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3
(2)(
  1. a)(
  2. iv)of the Act as being representative of persons whose profession or occupation relates to the manufacture, distribution, sale or supply of animal remedies: ( a ) Association of Manufacturers of Veterinary Homeopathic Products; ( b ) Federation of Irish Chemical Industries; ( c ) Irish Co-operative Organisation Society Ltd.; ( d ) Irish Grain and Feed Association; ( e ) Irish Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association; ( f ) Irish Pharmaceutical Union; ( g ) Irish Veterinary Association; ( h ) Irish Veterinary Union; 4. The following organisations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3
(2)(
  1. a)(
  2. v)of the Act as being representative of persons whose profession or occupation relates to livestock farming or the keeping or rearing of animals to which the Act applies or to the use of animal remedies: ( a ) Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association; ( b ) The Irish Farmers' Association. 5. The following organisations are hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3
(2)(
  1. a)(
  2. vi)of the Act as being concerned with the production of food of animal origin or the promotion or development of the food industry: ( a ) Irish Business and Employers Confederation; ( b ) Irish Co-operative Organisation Society Ltd.; ( c ) Irish Meat Processors Association; ( d ) The National Food Centre. 6. The Consumer's Association of Ireland is hereby prescribed for the purposes of section 3
