COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR GENERAL (SECTION 6) ORDER, 1994. I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsections
(5)and
(6)of section 6 of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (No. 8 of 1993), and after consultation with the Minister for Healh, hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Comptroller and Auditor General (Section 6) Order,
- In this Order, "section 6" means section 6 of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1993 (No. 8 of 1993).
- The following dates are hereby specified for the purposes of subsection
(5)of section 6: ( a ) for the year following the financial year 1994, the 1st day of June, 1995; ( b ) for the year following the financial year 1995, the 1st day of May, 1996; and ( c ) for years following subsequent financial years, the 1st day of April in each such year. 4. The following dates are hereby specified for the purposes of subsection
(6)of section 6: ( a ) for the year following the financial year 1994, the 30th day of November, 1995; ( b ) for the year following the financial year 1995, the 31st day of October, 1996; and ( c ) for years following subsequent financial years, the 30th day of September in the year following the financial year to which the accounts concerned relate or, if on that date ("the relevant date") Dáil Éireann stands dissolved, the date that is one week after— (i) the date of the reassembly of Dáil Éireann after the relevant date, or (ii) the date of the reassembly of Seanad Éireann after the relevant date,whichever is the later, is hereby specified for the purposes of subsection
(6)of section

- i)to the Comptroller and Auditor General and (
- ii)to each House of the Oireachtas.
