MARITIME BOUNDARIES (COUNTY OF WICKLOW) ORDER, 1994. WHEREAS a Boundary Surveyor has found that certain land in the county of Wicklow and barony of Arklow has been reclaimed from the sea; AND WHEREAS the said Boundary Surveyor has, pursuant to Section 3 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1854, ascertained, defined and marked out the present acknowledged or reputed maritime boundaries of the said county of Wicklow and of certain of the constituent divisions and denominations of land of that county, namely the said barony and the parish, the townlands and the district electoral division referred to in this Order, in so far as those boundaries are bounded by the land reclaimed as aforesaid: AND WHEREAS the said Boundary Surveyor has, pursuant to Section 11 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1854, prepared and made out a report in detail of the proposed alterations in the said boundaries with the grounds for making such alterations, accompanied by a plan showing in detail the original boundaries and those it is proposed to substitute for them and has submitted the report and the plan to the Government; NOW THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 11 and 12 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1854, and section 4 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1859, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Maritime Boundaries (County of Wicklow) Order, 1994. 2. This Order shall take effect from the 25th day of October, 1994. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), shall apply to this Order. 4. In this Order— "the Boundary Surveyor" means the person appointed under section 1 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1854, to be a Boundary Surveyor, who prepared and made out the report and submitted it to the Government; "the plan" means the ordnance plan referred to in the report showing in detail part of the original maritime boundaries of the county of Wicklow in the barony of Arklow and of that barony and of the parish, the townlands and the district electoral division of that county referred to in this Order as laid down on the ordnance plans of that county, and those which it is proposed to substitute for them; "the report" means the detailed report prepared, made out and submitted to the Government by the Boundary Surveyor, pursuant to Section 11 of the Boundary Survey (Ireland) Act, 1854, of the proposed alterations in the boundaries of the county of Wicklow in the barony of Arklow and of the said barony and the parish, the townlands and the district electoral division of that county referred to in this Order. 5. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 1 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the county of Wicklow between points, 1A and 33A on the plan, 6. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 2 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the barony of Arklow between points 1A and 33A on the plan. 7. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 3 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the district electoral division of Arklow Rural between points 1A and 33A on the plan. 8. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 4 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the parish of Arklow between points 1A and 33A on the plan. 9. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 5 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the townland of Rock Big between point 1A on the plan and the point where its northern boundary joins the line of high water. 10. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 6 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the townland of Rock Little. 11. It is hereby directed that the new boundary marked out by the Boundary Surveyor, proposed by him at paragraph 7 of the report and shown in detail on the plan, shall for all public purposes be and be deemed and taken to be the maritime boundary of the townland of Money Big between the point where its southern boundary joins the line of high water and point 33A on the plan. 12. This Order, the report and the plan shall remain on record in the Office of the Secretary of the Government and shall be exhibited to any person or persons who may desire to inspect the same, without fee or reward.
