FISHERIES (SALMON, EEL AND MOLLUSCAN SHELLFISH DEALERS' LICENCES) REGULATIONS, 1994. I, HUGH COVENEY, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 and Part X (as inserted by section 20 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 23 of 1994)) of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 30 of 1977 ) (as adapted by the Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 82 of 1987 )) hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Salmon, Eel and Molluscan Shellfish Dealers' Licences) Regulations, 1994. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1995. 3. In these Regulations— "the Principal Act" means the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959); "Part X of the Principal Act" means the Part substituted for Part X of the Principal Act by section 20 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1994 (No. 23 of 1994); "salmon Dealer's licence", "eel dealer's licence", and "molluscan shellfish dealer's licence" have the meanings assigned to them respectively, in Part X of the Principal Act. 4. An application for salmon dealer's licence, an eel dealer's licence or a molluscan shellfish dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part I of the Schedule to these Regulations and an application for the renewal of any such licence shall be in the form set out in Part II of that Schedule. 5. A salmon dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part III of the Schedule to these Regulations. 6. An eel dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part IV of the Schedule to these Regulations. 7. A molluscan shellfish dealer's licence shall be in the form set out in Part V of the Schedule to these Regulations. 8. The Fisheries (Salmon Dealer's Licence) Regulations, 1981 ( S.I. No. 36 of 1981 ), are hereby revoked. SCHEDULE Part I NOTES:1. Separate Applications must be completed in the case of each premises. 2. Separate Fees are payable for each premises.
