FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1991 (FISHERIES CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1994. I, DAVID ANDREWS, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1991 (No. 26 of 1991), hereby make the following rules:
(1)These rules may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1991 (Fisheries Co-operative Societies) (Amendment) Rules, 1994.

(6)of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1991 (Fisheries Co-operative Societies) Rules, 1992 ( S.I. No. 127 of 1992 ) is hereby amended by the substitution therein for "the 1st day of December immediately preceding the year for which membership is sought" of "the 1st day of May of the year for which membership is sought". These rules amend the rules for the regulation of fisheries co-operative societies to the effect that the closing date for receipt of applications from angling clubs for corporate membership of such societies is now the 1st day of May of the year for which membership is sought.
