FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (NO. 29) SCHEME, 1994. AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, hereby makes the following Scheme: 1.
(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 29) Scheme, 1994.
(2)This Scheme shall be operative from the 5th day of April,
- In this Scheme— "Scheme No. 28" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 28) Scheme, 1993 ( S.I. No. 97 of 1993 ).
- The First Schedule to the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 20) Scheme, 1985 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1985 ), as inserted by Regulation 3 of Scheme No. 28, is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the First Schedule to this Scheme. FIRST SCHEDULE EMS COURIER SERVICE (To destinations outside the State). Rates available to every user of the Service. Each Item £ Zone A (United Kingdom) First 500g 17.00 Each extra 500g to 5Kg. 1.50 Each extra 500g to 30Kg. 25p Zone B (European Union Countries Except United Kingdom) First 500g 18.00 Each extra 500g to 5Kg. 2.75 Each extra 500g to 30Kg. 1.00 Zone C (European Countries outside the E. U.) First 500g 19.00 Each extra 500g to 5Kg. 3.00 Each extra 500g to 30Kg. 1.00 Zone D (North America & Canada) First 500g 20.00 Each extra 500g to 5Kg. 4.00 Each extra 500g to 30Kg. 2.00 Zone E and F (All other Countries) First 500g 23.00 Each extra 500g to 5Kg. 7.00 Each extra 500g to 30Kg. 4.50 GIVEN under the Common Seal of AN POST, this 29th day of March,
