TRAVEL AGENTS (LICENSING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1995. I, MICHAEL LOWRY, Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 12 of the Transport (Tour Operators and Travel Agents) Act, 1982 (No. 3 of 1982), and the Communications (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 92 of 1987 ) (as adapted by the Tourism, Transport and Communications (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 17 of 1993 ) ), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Travel Agents (Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1995. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1995. 3. Regulation 10 of the Travel Agents (Licensing) Regulations, 1993, is hereby amended by— ( a ) the substitution in paragraph (
4. a)of "£243" for "£221", ( b ) the substitution in paragraph (
5. b)of "£24" for "£22", and ( c ) the substitution in paragraph (
6. c)of "£243" for "£221", The Minister for Finance hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. The effect of these Regulations is to revise the level of fees payable in respect of applications for a travel agents licence and in respect of amendment of such licences.
