I, NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 8 (as amended by the Animals Act, 1985 (No. 11 of 1985 )) of the Pounds (Provision and Maintenance) Act, 1935 (No. 17 of 1935), hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Pounds (Amendment) Regulations, 1995. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 13th day of February, 1995. 3. The Pounds Regulations, 1985 and 1990, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Pounds Regulations, 1985 to 1995. 4. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 5. The Pounds Regulations, 1985 ( S.I. No. 306 of 1985 ), as amended by the Pounds (Amendment) Regulations, 1990 ( S.I.
