AIR NAVIGATION (FEES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1996. The Irish Aviation Authority, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 5 , 58 and 60 of the Irish Aviation Authority Act, 1993 , (No. 29 of 1993) hereby orders as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Fees) (Amendment) Order, 1996.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of February,
- In this Order "the Authority" means The Irish Aviation Authority.
- The Air Navigation (Fees) Order, 1995 ( S.I. No. 74 of 1995 ) is hereby amended by ( a ) the substitution of the following for paragraph (b) of Article 4: "( b ) The Authority, through such of its officers as may be authorised in that behalf, may remit or reduce, in any case or class of cases in relation to which it is satisfied that it is reasonable to do so, any fee prescribed by this Order." ( b ) the insertion of the following Article after Article 4: "
- The Authority may give directions for carrying out the purposes of this Order in respect of any matter or thing provided for by this Order." GIVEN under the Common Seal of the Irish Aviation Authority, this 19th day of February,

This Order amends the Air Navigation (Fees) Order, 1995, ( S.I. No. 74 of 1995 ) to provide for the remission or reduction of fees prescribed by that order, where the Authority is satisfied that it is reasonable to do so.
