JURY DISTRICTS ORDER, 1997 I, NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5
(3)of the Juries Act, 1976 (No. 4 of 1976) hereby Order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts Order,
- This Order shall come into operation on the 25th day of March,
- Part II of the Schedule to the Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ) is hereby amended by the deletion of the reference to the jury district. County of Leitrim (Jury District No. I (Carrickon-Shannon) and Jury District No. 2 (Manorhamilton)). GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 24th day of March,
- NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Statutory Instrument which comes into operation on 25 March, 1997 amends the Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ). For the purposes of the Juries Act, 1976 the County of Leitrim is now one Jury district.
