IRISH TAKE-OVER PANEL ACT, 1997 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1997 I, RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Enterprise and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 27
(2)of the Irish Take-over Panel Act, 1997 (No. 5 of 1997), hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Irish Take-over Panel Act, 1997 (Commencement) Order,
- The 14th day of April, 1997, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Irish Take-over Panel Act, 1997 (No. 5 of 1997) (other than subsection
(3)of section 5, subsections
(1)and
(2)of section 7 and sections 9 to 15 thereof) shall come into operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 14th day of April, 1997. RICHARD BRUTON, Minister for Enterprise and Employment. EXPLANATORY NOTE. This Order fixes the 14th day of April, 1997 as the day on which certain provisions of the Irish Take-over Panel Act, 1997 shall come into operation.
