DISTRICT COURT AREAS (VARIATION OF DAYS AND HOURS) (NO. 17) ORDER, 1997 I, NORA OWEN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1953 (No. 32 of 1953), and after consultation with the President of the District Court, hereby order as follows: 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 17) Order, 1997.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 6th day of June,
- In this Order 'the Principal Order' means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 ( S.I. No. 5 of 1961 ).
- The Second Schedule to the Principal Order is hereby amended by the substitution for the matter in column
(4)(as amended by the District Court Districts and Areas (Amendment) Order, 1967 ( S.I. No. 13 of 1967 ), the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) Order, 1985 ( S.I. No. 43 of 1985 ), the District Court Districts and Areas (Section 26) (No. 17) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 42 of 1997 ) and the District Court Districts and Areas (Amendment) and Variation of Days Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 196 of 1997 )) at reference number 109 of the following: "Second and Fourth Wednesday in each month at 11 a.m.. First Tuesday in each month at 11 a.m. and Third Tuesday in February, April, June, October and December at 11 a.m."
- Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order has been in force at the time at which such business had been initiated. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 6th day of June,
