No. 310/1997 - Ethics in Public Office (Prescribed Public Body, Designated Directorships and Positions in Public Bodies) (Amendment) Regulations, 1997 AmendmentsLeasuithe I, CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (No. 22 of 1995), and after consultation with the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, hereby make the following Regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Ethics in Public Office (Prescribed Public Body, Designated Directorships and Positions in Public Bodies) (Amendment) Regulations, 1997.
(2)These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 15th day of January,
- The matter at reference number 69 of the Second Schedule to the Ethics in Public Office (Prescribed Public Body, Designated Directorships and Designated Positions in Public Bodies) Regulations, 1997 ( S.I. No. 32 of 1997 ), is hereby deleted. GIVEN under my Official Seal this 8th day of July,
- CHARLIE McCREEVY, Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. These regulations amend the Ethics in Public Office (Prescribed Public Body, Designated Directorships and Designated Positions in Public Bodies) Regulations ( S.I. No. 32 of 1997 ) by deleting the reference to Airmotive Ireland Holdings Limited from those Regulations. This has the effect that Airmotive Ireland Holdings Limited is no longer designated as a "public body" for the purposes of the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (No. 22 of 1995).
