(1)(b)) REGULATIONS,
  1. I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3(l)(b) of the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (No. 22 of 1995), hereby make the following Regulations:
  2. These Regulations, may be cited as the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (Section 3
(1)(b)) Regulations,
  1. In these Regulations "the Act" means the Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (No. 22 of 1995.)
  2. Where a person ceases to be an office holder, the duty imposed by section 19
(4)of the Act shall, if it has not been carried out before such cesser, be carried out by the person during the period of 30 days from the day of such cesser. 4. In section 20 of the Act ( a ) the references in subsection
(1)to the date of the statement, the date of the last previous such statement and the date of the current statement are references to the last day of the period to which the statement concerned relates, ( b ) the reference in subsection
(3)to the day on which the last previous such statement was so furnished by him or her shall be construed as a reference to the last day of the period to which that statement relates, and ( c ) subsection
(3)may be construed, in the case of a special adviser (within the meaning of section 19 of the Act) whose appointment as a special adviser ends, as requiring the furnishing by him or her not later than 7 days from the day on which the appointment ends, of the statement under subsection
