CRIMINAL JUSTICE (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT, 1997 (SECTION 6) REGULATIONS, 1997 I, John O'Donoghue, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6

(7)of the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1997 (No. 4 of 1997), and the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1997 ), hereby make the following Regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1997 (Section 6) Regulations, 1997.
(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on the 8th day of September
  1. In these Regulations "section 6" means section 6 of the Criminal Justice (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1997 (No. 4 of 1997): "member" means a member of the Garda Síochána. 3.
(1)A certificate under subsection
(1)of section 6 relating to the arrest and cautioning of a person for a specified offence shall be in the form set out in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
(2)A certificate under subsection
(1)of section 6 relating to the charging and cautioning of a person for a specified offence shall be in the form set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.
(3)A certificate under subparagraph (
  1. i)of paragraph (
  2. a)of subsection
(2)of section 6 shall be in the form set out in the Third Schedule to these Regulations.
(4)A certificate under subparagraph (
  1. ii)of paragraph (
  2. a)of subsection
(2)of section 6 shall be in the form set out in the Fourth Schedule to these Regulations.
(5)A certificate under paragraph (b) of subsection
