No. 116 of 1998. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, 1997 — DELEGATION UNDER SECTION 4. I, MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources and head of the Department of the Marine and Natural Resources within the meaning of the Freedom of Information Act, 1997 , hereby delegate under section 4 of that Act: to officers in the grades specified in Part 1 of Schedule 1, the functions specified in Part 2 of Schedule 1 and to officers in the grades specified in Part 1 of Schedule 2, the functions specified in Part 2 of Schedule 2. For the purposes of this delegation and the avoidance of doubt officers who are in receipt of a higher duties allowance for performing the duties of a grade specified in Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 of this Order are deemed to be officers in that grade.
