FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (NO. 33) SCHEME, 1998. AN POST, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 70 of the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983 (No. 24 of 1983), and with the consent of the Minister for Public Enterprise, hereby makes the following Scheme: 1.

(1)This Scheme may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 33) Scheme, 1998.
(2)This Scheme shall be operative from the 6th day of April,
  1. In this Scheme— "The Principal Warrant" means the Foreign Parcel Post Warrant, 1953 ( S.I. No. 418 of 1953 ). "Scheme No. 20" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 20) Scheme 1985 ( S.I. No. 96 of 1985 ). "Scheme No. 30" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 30) Scheme 1995 ( S.I. No. 101 of 1995 ). "Scheme No. 32" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 32) Scheme 1997 ( S.I. No. 172 of 1997 ).
  2. The First Schedule to Scheme No. 20 as inserted by Regulation 6 of Scheme No. 30 is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein of the entries in the First Schedule to this Scheme.
  3. Part II of the Fourth Schedule to the Principal Warrant, is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 5 of Scheme No. 32) of the entries in the Second Schedule to this Scheme.
