I, MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on my by section 4

(1)of the Fisheries (Consolidation) Act, 1959 (No. 14 of 1959) and section 33
(1)of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 (No. 23 of 1997) (as adapted by the Marine (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 301 of 1997 )), hereby make the following Regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 (Section 33) Regulations, 1998.
(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on the 14th day of July, 1998. 2. It is hereby prescribed that the form set out in the Schedule to these Regulations shall be the form of a declaration to be given to the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board under section 33 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 (No. 23 of 1997). SCHEDULE Regulation 2 DECLARATION TO THE AQUACULTURE LICENCES APPEALS BOARD OF INTERESTS FOR PURPOSES OF SECTION 33 of FISHERIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1997 I,_____________________, hereby give to the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board the following declaration of interests in compliance with the requirements of section 33 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 : (
  1. a)Particulars of any estate or interest which I have in any land, or in any process, development or operation, associated with aquaculture or fish processing or the manufacture, sale or distribution of products used in aquaculture or fish processing; (
  2. b)Particulars of any business or dealing in or developing land, or any process, development or operation associated with aquaculture or fish processing or the manufacture, sale or distribution of products used in aquaculture or fish processing, in which I am engaged or employed and any such business carried on by a company or other body of which I am, or any nominee of mine is, a member; and (
  3. c)Particulars of any profession, business or occupation in which I am engaged, whether on my own behalf or otherwise, and which relates to dealing in or developing land or to any process, development or operation associated with aquaculture or fish processing or the manufacture, sale or distribution of products used in aquaculture or fish processing. I hereby declare that the foregoing is a true and complete declaration of every interest of mine to which section 33 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 , applies. These Regulations prescribe the Form of Declaration of Interests, required by section 33 of the Fisheries (Amendment) Act, 1997 (No. 23), to be completed by the Chairperson and by all other members and Secretary of the Aquaculture Licences Appeals Board and by any consultant or adviser who may be engaged by the Board.
