CATTLE BY SEA) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1998. I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise

(1)This Order may be cited as the Diseases

Animals (Carriage

Cattle by Sea) (Amendment) Order, 1998.

(2)The Diseases

Animals (Carriage

Cattle by Sea) Order, 1996, and this Order may be cited together as the Diseases

Animals (Carriage

Cattle by Sea) Orders, 1996 and

  2. This Order shall come into operation on the 16th day

September,

  2. The Diseases

Animals (Carriage

Cattle by Sea) Order, 1996, ( S.I. No. 17

1996 ) is hereby amended by— (a) the insertion

the following sub-paragraph in Article 9

(3)after subparagraph (b): "and (c) for vessels with a roll period

less than 15 seconds, the port

the intended voyage as would enable him to assess the sea conditions on that route.", (d) the insertion
