AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 53 of 1998. REFERENDUM ACT, 1998. REFERENDUM COMMISSION (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER, 1998. The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 2 of the Referendum Act, 1998 (No. 1 of 1998), hereby orders as follows: 1. This order may be cited as the Referendum Commission (Establishment) Order, 1998. 2. A Referendum Commission is hereby established to undertake the functions assigned to it by the Referendum Act, 1998 . 3. The date hereof the making of this order is hereby appointed as the day for the purposes of section 2
