Period of time within which declaration under Article 29.7 of Constitution may be made. 2. Short title. Number 12 of 1999 DECLARATION UNDER ARTICLE 29.7 OF THE CONSTITUTION (EXTENSION OF TIME) ACT, 1999 AN ACT TO PROVIDE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUBSECTION 5° OF SECTION 7 OF ARTICLE 29 OF THE CONSTITUTION, FOR A PERIOD OF TIME LONGER THAN THAT SPECIFIED IN THE SAID SUBSECTION 5° WITHIN WHICH THE GOVERNMENT MAY MAKE A DECLARATION UNDER THE SAID SECTION 7. [2nd June, 1999] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: Period of time within which declaration under Article 29.7 of Constitution may be made. 1.— The period of 24 months commencing on the day on which section 7 of Article 29 of the Constitution was added to the Constitution is hereby provided for the purposes of subsection 5° of that section. Short title. 2.— This Act may be cited as the Declaration under Article 29.7 of the Constitution (Extension of Time) Act, 1999.
