AmendmentsLeasuithe I, JOHN O'DONOGHUE, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5
(3)of the Juries Act, 1976 (No. 4 of 1976), as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 298 of 1997 ), hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Jury Districts Order,
- This Order shall come into operation on the 8th day of March,
- Part II of the Schedule to the Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ) is hereby amended by the deletion of the reference to the jury district, County of Mayo (Jury District No. 1 (Castlebar) and Jury District No. 2 (Ballina)). GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 3rd day of March,

This Statutory Instrument which comes into operation on 8th March, 1999 amends the Jury Districts Order, 1976 ( S.I. No. 57 of 1976 ). For the purposes of the Juries Act, 1976 the County of Mayo is now one Jury district.
