MARY HARNEY, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13
(2)(inserted by section 49 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1988 (No. 15 of 1988)) of the Customs-Free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as adapted by the Enterprise and Employment (Alteration of Name of Department and title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1997 )), and with the consent of the Minister for Public Enterprise and the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations:
- These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations,
- The Control of Exports Order, 2000 ( S.I. No. 300 of 2000 ), shall extend to the Customs-Free Airport.
- The Customs-Free Airport (Extension of Laws) Regulations, 1998 ( S.I. No. 68 of 1998 ), are hereby revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 21st day of September,
- MARY HARNEY, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment. The Minister for Public Enterprise hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Public Enterprise, this 22nd day of September,
- JOHN LUMSDEN, A person authorised by the Minister for Public Enterprise to authenticate the Official Seal of the Minister. The Minister for Finance hereby consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Finance, this 11th day of December,
- BRIGID McMANUS, A person authorised by the Minister for Finance to authenticate the Official Seal of the Minister. EXPLANATORY NOTE. (This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) The effect of this Order is to extend the provisions of the Control of Exports Order 2000 ( S.I. No. 300 of 2000 ) to the Customs-Free Airport.
