exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 30, and

relation to Article 5 of this Order, sections 5 , 27 (a) and 28 (a), of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1999 ( S.I. No. 307 of 1999 )), hereby order as follows:

  1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Miscellaneous Amendments and Revocations) Order,
  3. The Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Restriction on Movement) (No.3) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 62 of 2001 ), the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Restriction on Movement (No. 3) (Amendment) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 90 of 2001 ) and the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 2) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 83 of 2001 ) are revoked.
  4. Each of the following Orders shall be construed as not

cluding a reference to France, that is to say. - (

  1. a)the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Restriction of Import of Vehicles. Machinery and Other Equipment) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 51 of 2001 ), and (
  2. b)the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Restriction of Import of Horses and Greyhounds) (No. 2) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 85 of 2001 ). 4. The Foot-and-Mouth (Restriction on Movement (No. 4) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 63 of 2001 ) is amended by the deletion

the definition of “area” (

serted by the Foot-and-Mouth (Restriction on Movement) (No. 4) (Amendment) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 91 of 2001 )), of “(other than the area to which the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Restriction on Movement) (No. 3) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No 62 of 2001 ) applies)”. 5. The Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Restriction on Movement of Certain Animals) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 121 of 2001 ) is amended,

Article 3(1), by the deletion of “unless the animal is moved directly”.

6. The Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 3) Order, 2001 (S.I. 108 of 2001) is amended,

(1), by - (
  1. a)the substitution for the definition of “restricted areas” of the following definition - “‘restricted areas”’ means the Kingdom of the Netherlands and (
  2. b)the

sertion of the following definition - “’Netherlands” means the Kingdom of the Netherlands other than the restricted areas.”. 7. The Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Import Restrictions) (No. 4) Order, 2001 (S.I. 118 of 2001) is amended,

(1), by the substitution for the definition of “restricted areas” of the following definition — “’restricted areas” means Great Britain and the Districts of Mourne and Newry

  3. c)to amend rules relating to movement of certain animals within the State, and (
