(1)of the Economic and Monetary Union Act, 1998 (No. 38 of 1998), hereby order as follows:
- This Order may be cited as the Irish Pound Notes and Coins (Cessation of Legal Tender Status) Order,
- The 9th day of February 2002, is hereby specified as the earlier operative date for the purposes of Chapter III of the Economic and Monetary Union Act, 1998 (No. 38 of 1998). GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 11th day of July
