No. 497/2001 - Electoral (Amendment) Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order, 2001 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1
(9)of the Electoral (Amendment) Act, 2001 , hereby orders as follows:-
- This Order may be cited as the Electoral (Amendment) Act, 2001 (Commencement) Order,
- Sections 1 to 4, 9, 10, 14, 15, 24, 26, 28 to 48, 51, 52, 54 (other than paragraph (k)) and 55 shall come into operation on the making of this Order.
- Section 50 shall come into operation on 1 November,
- Sections 11, 16, 18 to 21, 23, 49 and 56 to 58 shall come into operation on 1 January,
- Sections 5 to 8, 12, 13, 25 and 27 shall come into operation on 15 February,
- GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government this 1st day of November,
