No. 541/2001 - Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2001 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 of the Road Traffic Act, 1961 (No. 24 of 1961) and section 10 of the Road Traffic Act, 1968 (No. 25 of 1968) hereby makes the following Regulations:- 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers)(Amendment) (No.2) Regulations, 2001.
(2)The Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 to 2001 and these Regulations shall be construed as one and cited together as the Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 to 2001.
(3)These Regulations shall apply to licences taken out for periods beginning on or after 1 January,
- The Road Traffic (Licensing of Trailers and Semi-Trailers) Regulations, 1982 are hereby amended by the substitution in the Second Schedule thereof:- “€6” for “£5” and “€60” for “£50”. Given under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government this 30th day of November,

These Regulations make certain technical amendments for the introduction of the Euro currency on the 1st January, 2002 and apply to licences taken out for periods on or after the 1st January,
