No. 58/2001 - The Foot and Mouth (Controlled Area) (No 1), Order 2001 AmendmentsLeasuithe I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on me section 3 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) and Article 41 of the Foot and Mouth Disease Order, 1956 ( S.I. No.324 of 1956 ) hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Foot and Mouth (Controlled Area) (No 1), Order 2001 2. The area specified in the Schedule to this Order is hereby declared to be a Foot and Mouth controlled area for the purposes of the Foot and Mouth Disease Order, 1956 ( S.I. No 324 of 1956 ). SCHEDULE That part of the County of Louth that lies north of the N53 and that part of the County of Louth that lies east of a line drawn northwards along the N 1 from its junction with the N 53 at Dundalk.
