(1)of the Local Government Act, 1991 (No. 11 of 1991) hereby orders as follows:-
- This Order may be cited as the Ballina Urban District Boundary Alteration Order,
- This Order shall come into operation on 1 January
- The areas shown as “relevant areas” on the map titled “Ballina UDC New Urban Boundary 2002” date-stamped 12th December 2001, and attached to this Order, shall be detached from the County Health District of Mayo and from then on they shall be included in and form part of the Urban District of Ballina and the boundary of the Urban District shall accordingly stand altered in accordance with that map. - It should be read together with a separate order, the Ballina Urban District Boundary Alteration (Supplementary) Order, 2001, ( S.I. No. 604 of 2001 ) which contains supplementary provisions related to the boundary extension.
