No. 307 of 1999 )) hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Restriction of Movement of Animals) Order, 2001 (Amendment) Order, 2001. 2. Article 3 of this Order shall come into operation at 6 o'clock in the afternoon of the 3rd day of March, 2001. 3. In Article 3(
  4. i)of the Diseases of Animals (Restriction of Movement of Animals) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 56 of 2001 ) “With effect from 6 March 2001” is hereby revoked. 4. Article 3(
  5. ii)of the Diseases of Animals (Restriction of Movement of Animals) Order, 2001 ( S.I. No. 56 of 2001 ) shall be construed and have effect as if “, under this Order or any other Order made under the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 .” were inserted after “Minister”.   6. a)to delete the commencing date of 6 March 2001 in relation to the movement of animals directly to slaughter only by permit issued by the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development under the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 , and (
  7. b)to enable an animal-movement permit issued under the Act other than that issued under S.I. No. 56 to be used for the movement of animals to slaughter or any other destination.
