No. 8/2001 - Harbours Act, 1996 (Limits of Burtonport Harbour) Order, 2001 AmendmentsLeasuithe I, Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 91
(1)of the Harbours Act, 1996 (No. 11 of 1996) (as adapted by the Marine (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 301 of 1997 )), and after consultation with the council of the county of Donegal hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1996 (Limits of Burtonport Harbour) Order, 2001. 2. The limits of the harbour of Burtonport, being a harbour under the control or management of the council of the county of Donegal, are defined as follows, namely limits comprising the following two limits- (
- a)the outward limits consisting of the area to the Eastward (090 degrees true) of the line joining the positions of 54° 59.5' N, 8° 28.8'W and 54° 58'N, 8° 28.8'W to the adjoining mainland of the county of Donegal, and (
- b)the inward limits consisting of the areas occupied by all adjoining lands banks, landing places, docks, piers, jetties, quays, slipways, roads leading thereto and other works of the mainland within the points where the said line meets the mainland under the control or management of the council of the county of Donegal.
