(4)(inserted by section 3 of the Diseases of Animals (Amendment) Act, 2001 (No. 3 of 2001)) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966) (as adapted by the Agriculture and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1999 ( S.I. No. 307 of 1999 )), and consider it reasonably necessary to avoid the outbreak of disease within the State, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Section 29A
(4)) Order,
  2. Subsection
(3)of section 29A (inserted by section 3 of the Diseases of Animals (Amendment) Act, 2001 (No. 3 of 2001)) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 , shall have effect for the period of one month from the making of this Order within the whole of the State. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) The effect of this order is to prohibit, for the period of one month from 14th March 2001, the movements of animals within 30 days of purchase, save under permit.
