No. 213/2002 - Local Government Act, 2001 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 2002 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 7 of the Local Government Act, 2001 (No. 37 of 2001) hereby orders as follows:- 1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 2001 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order, 2002. 2. Sections 109 and 110 of the Local Government Act, 2001 shall come into operation on the 16th day of May 2002. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment and Local Government this 16th day of May, 2002. This Order brings into operation on the 16th day of May, 2002 sections 109 and 110 which enable local authorities to establish a community fund and associated community scheme for the financing and support of projects considered of benefit to the local community.
