No. 346/2002 - Referendum Act, 1998 Referendum Commission (Establishment) (No. 2) Order, 2002 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Referendum Act, 1998 (No. 1 of 1998), hereby orders as follows: 1. This order may be cited as the Referendum Commission (Establishment) (No. 2) Order, 2002. 2. A Referendum Commission is hereby established to undertake the functions assigned to it by the Referendum Act, 1998 , as amended by the Referendum Act, 2001 , in relation to the proposal for an amendment of the Constitution contained in the Twenty-sixth Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 2002.
