No. 23/2003 - National Treasury Management Agency (Delegation of Functions) Order 2003 AmendmentsLeasuithe The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 5 of the National Treasury Management Agency Act, 1990 (No. 18 of 1990), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the National Treasury Management Agency (Delegation of Functions) Order, 2003. 2. The functions of the Minister for Finance under section 54 (7A) of the Finance Act 1970 (No. 14 of 1970) (inserted by section 18 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2002 (No. 9 of 2002)) are delegated to the National Treasury Management Agency. Taoiseach EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) As provided for in Section 5 of the National Treasury Management Agency Act 1990 , this Order delegates to the National Treasury Management Agency the functions of the Minister for Finance in relation to engaging in normal banking transactions for the purposes of the better management of the borrowing and debt of the Housing Finance Agency.
