No. 462/2003 - European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful To Plants Or Plant Products) (Prohibition) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2003 AmendmentsLeasuithe I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive 2003/46/EC of 4 June 20031 make the following Regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products (Prohibition) (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations 2003.
(2)The European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products) (Prohibition) Regulations 1980 to 2002, the European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products)(Prohibition)(Amendment) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 219 of 2003 ), the European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products)(Prohibition (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2003 ( S.I. No. 276 of 2003 ) and these Regulations may be cited together as the European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products (Prohibition) Regulations 1980 to 2003. 2. Regulation 2
(1)of the European Communities (Introduction of Organisms Harmful to Plants or Plant Products) (Prohibition) Regulations 1980 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1980 ) is amended by substituting the definition of “the Directive” for the following — “‘Directive’ means Council Directive 2000/29/EC of 8 May 20002 as amended by Commission Directive 2001/32/EC of 8 May 20013 , Commission Directive 2001/33/EC of 8 May 20014 , Commission Directive 2002/28/EC of 19 March 20025 , Commission Directive 2002/29/EC of 19 March 20026 , Commission Directive 2002/36/EC of 29 April 20027 , Council Directive 2002/89/EC of 28 November 20028 , Corrigendum to Council Directive 2002/89/EC of 28 November 20029 , Commission Directive 2003/21/EC of 24 March 200310 Commission Directive 2003/22/EC of 24 March 200311 , Commission Directive 2003/46/EC of 4 June 2003 and Commission Directive 2003/47/EC of 4 June 2003 as applied by Commission Decision 2000/700/EC of 30 October 200012 , Commission Decision 2001/99/EC of 18 January 200113 Commission Decision 2001/441/EC of 29 May 200114 , Commission Decision 2002/316/EC of 29 April 200215 , Commission Decision 2003/63/EC of 28 January 200316 , Commission Decision 2003/248/EC of 9 April 200317 Commission Decision 2003/249/EC of 9 April 200318 and Commission Decision 2003/250/EC19 ”.
