No. 232/2004 - Finance Act 2003 (Section 102) (Commencement) Order 2004 AmendmentsLeasuithe I, Charlie McCreevy, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 102 of the Finance Act 2003 (No. 3 of 2003), hereby order as follows: 1. This order may be cited as the Finance Act 2003 (Section 102) (Commencement) Order 2004. 2. The 28th day of May 2004 is appointed as the day on which section 102 of the Finance Act 2003 comes into operation. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 26th May 2004. Charlie McCreevy Minister for Finance. EXPLANATORY NOTE. (This note is not part of the instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) This order appoints the 28th day of May 2004 as the date for coming into operation of Section 102 of the Finance Act 2003 . As a consequence: A single registration certificate will be issued by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, incorporating both the Vehicle Registration Certificate issued by the Revenue Commissioners and the Vehicle Licensing Certificate issued by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government. The new single vehicle registration/licensing certificate will be known as the Registration Certificate.
