(4)(as amended by Section 5 of the Vocational Education (Amendment) Act, 1950 (No. 33 of 1950) and Section 5 of the Vocational Education (Amendment) Act, 1962 (No. 28 of 1962) of the Vocational Education (Amendment) Act, 1947 (No. 1 of 1947) (adapted by the Education (Alteration of Name Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1997 ( S.I. No. 430 of 1997 ), hereby make the following Rules: 1. These Rules may be cited as the Vocational Education Committees (Allowances to Members) (Amendment) Rules, 2004. 2.
(1)Section 4
(1)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1998.
(2)Section 4
(2)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1999.
(3)Section 4
(3)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2000.
(4)Section 4
(4)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2001.
(5)Section 4
(5)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 2002.
(6)Section 4
(6)shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January,
  2. In these Rules “the Rules of 1998” means the Vocational Education Committees (Allowances to Members) (Amendment) Rules, 1998 ( S.I. No. 171 of 1998 )

(1)The Vocational Education Committees (Allowances to Members) Rules, 1963 ( S.I. No. 114 of 1963 ) are hereby amended by: (
  1. a)the substitution in Rule 3(
  2. a)for “£19.81” (inserted by the Rules of 1998) of “£20.74”. (
  3. b)the substitution in Rule 3(
  4. b)for “£20.74” (inserted by the Rules of 1998) of “£21.43”. (
  5. c)the substitution in Rule 4 for “£23.00” (inserted by the Rules of 1998) of “£24.00”.
