(2)) ORDER, 2005. The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3
(2)of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 , hereby orders as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (Section 3
(2)) Order
  2. In this order, “the Act” means the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act 1971 (No. 6 of 1971).
  3. The following bodies established by the Local Government Act, 1991 (Regional Authorities) (Establishment Order, 1999 ( S.I. No. 226 of 1999 ) are hereby designated for the purposes of section 3
(3)of the Act: The Border, Midland and Western Regional Assembly and The Southern and Eastern Regional Assembly. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, this 24th day of February, 2005.
