No. 766 of 2005 CIVIL REGISTRATION (REDUCED FEES) REGULATIONS 2005 I, Mary Harney, Minister for Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 9 of the Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Act 1952 (No 8 of 1952), section 233 of the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Act 1993 (No. 27 of 1993 and sections 3 and 67 of the Civil Registration Act 2004 (No. 3 of 2004), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the Minister for Education and Science and the Minister for Social and Family Affairs hereby make the following regulations:- 1. These regulations may be cited as the Civil Registration (Reduced Fees Regulations 2005. 2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 5th December 2005. 3. (
  4. a)The amount of the fee for a certificate of birth, stillbirth, adoption, death or marriage fixed by any of the enactments to which this article applies is hereby altered to €1.00. (
  5. b)The enactments to which this regulation applies are: section 10 of the Savings Bank Act 1887; section 97 of the Friendly Societies Act 1896; section 19 of the School Attendance Act 1926 (No 17 of 1926); section 120 of the Vocational Education Act 1930 (No 29 of 1930); section 51

(7)and section 51(8 of the Insurance Act 1936 (No 45 of 1936).
  1. The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Reduced Fees) Regulations 1982 ( S.I. No. 46 of 1982 ) are revoked. The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Regulations. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Finance, 23rd November
