No. 129 of 2006 Garda Síochána Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2006 Garda Síochána Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2006 I, Michael McDowell, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (No. 20 of 2005), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2006 2. The 31st day of March 2006 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (No. 20 of 2005) come into operation: (
- a)section 4 and Schedule 1, in so far as they relate to the provisions specified in the third column of the Schedule to this Order; (
- b)sections 6, 9 to 23, 25 to 28, 30 (other than subsection
(3)of section 30), and 31 to 38; (
- c)sections 42, 46, 59 and 61; (
- d)sections 74 (other than subsection
(3)of section 74) and 75; (
- e)Part 5; (
- f)sections 121
(2)(c), 122 (other than subsection
(1)(
- o)of section 122) and 127 to 129; (
